◆大山倍達の人物史

1923 June 4th

Masutatsu Oyama, later to become Kancho the International Karate Organization, Kyokushinkaikan,was born on the 27th of July (June 4th by the reckoning of the olf Japanese calendar). He was a forth son of Mr. Sai Shogen、Mrs. Sai Fuyou.

1931

When Mas. Oyama stayed at the ranch run by his elder sister, he learned one of marshal arts called Shakuriki from Li Soushi who worked at the ranch.

1936 March

Mas. Oyama entered Yamanashi Airways Shool for boys in Yamanashi, Japan.

1939 September

Studied Karate at Shotokan Karate Dojo at Mejiro, Tokyo under Gichin Funakoshi, one of the first three people who broght karate to Japan.

1941 April

Gained 2nd Dan in Karate.

1923/6/4

（新暦7月27日）父・崔承玄、母・芙蓉の4男として、この世に生を受ける。

1931

満州の姉の家が経営している牧場に預けられる、そこで働いていた武術の達人「李相志」から「借力」という拳法を習う。

1936/3

山梨県にあった少年航空学校に入学。

1939/9

東京目白の松濤館流空手道場、富名腰義珍（初めて日本に空手の型を紹介した）の門下生となる。

1941/4

日本拓殖大学に学びながら空手2段をとる。
